Recruiting: Corey Malone-Hatcher to Decide Thursday

There have been numerous reports from Michigan recruiting insiders that the first couple weeks of June would be a great time period for Michigan in regards to recruits committing and it looks like those insiders were right!

Four-star DE (Mich.) Corey Malone-Hatcher announced via Twitter that he would be committing this Thursday from a select group of schools. The programs lucky enough to make Malone-Hatcher’s final cut are Alabama, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Tennessee, UCLA, and Wisconsin.

Michigan is the current 247Sports Crystal Ball leader for Malone-Hatcher having all 17 predictions be in their favor. Wolverine fans have been very confident about the Saint Joseph, Mich. standout for sometime now and after doing some digging, there isn’t any reason for the Wolverine faithful to lose that confidence. Some Oklahoma and Wisconsin fans seem to have some sort of confident feelings and though I actually believe both of those schools did a solid job recruiting Malone-Hatcher, I just can’t see any program surpassing Michigan here.

Malone-Hatcher should probably start what looks like a great recruiting month for the Wolverines. Based on what I’ve been told and what several recruiting experts have been hinting at, all I can say is that Michigan fans all over should buckle up and prepare for a pretty wild ride.
