Jaylen Kelly-Powell, a four star defensive end/safety has officially committed to Michigan. This may have not to come to a surprise to many as according to the 24/7 sports composite every single Crystal ball prediction was for Michigan.
Kelly-Powell picked the Wolverines over his other finalists – Oregon, Virginia Tech, UCLA, Nebraska, Wisconsin and Ohio State.
Kelly-Powell is 6 foot 175lbs and rated the No.1 safety in the Midwest and the No. 260 player in the class of 2017. according to 24/7 sports composite.
He announced his commitment on twitter this morning with a paragraph and a youtube video of him choosing Michigan.
“First and foremost, thank you God for giving me the ability to reach my dreams,” Kelly-Powell wrote on Twitter. “I would like to thank my family, friends, teammates coaches, Cass Tech as a whole … for helping me get to this point. Special thanks to all the coaches that have recruited me. I truly appreciate you for showing how great your universities are. With that being said, I have decided that I will be attending the University of Michigan and look forward to enrolling early. Go Blue.”
