Saturday afternoons game against Colorado may have been Jabrill Peppers best game as a Michigan Wolverine.
So good that Peppers is the first person to win both Big Ten defensive and special teams player of the week honors in the same week.
The 6-foot-1, 205-pounder made 9 tackles (3.5 for a loss) and a sack defensively against the Buffaloes. He also racked up a whopping
180 total return yards, including a 54 yard punt return for a touchdown, which was the first of his career.He also recorded more than 200 yards of total offense (204) . Peppers had 99 punt return yards and 81 kickoff return yards in Michigan’s victory.He currently leads the NCAA in both TFL (9.5) and total punt return yards (173).
Peppers shared the defensive player of the week honor with Ohio States Jerome Baker.
Jabrill Peppers is back in action Saturday September 24th at 3:30 against Penn State.
