Former Michigan Star Glenn Robinson III to Participate in NBA Dunk Contest

Former Michigan small forward Glen Robinson III has accepted an invitation to participate in the NBA’s Slam Dunk Contest of All-Star Weekend.

TheVertical.com’s Adrian Wojnarowski first reported the news on Twitter.

The high-flying former Wolverine standout has performed well this season with the Indiana Pacers, starting 24 games for the club, while averaging 23 minutes per game. Expect Robinson, known by Michigan fans as GRIII, to be a real dark horse in the quest for the Slam Dunk title.

The NBA Slum Dunk Contest will be shown LIVE on TNT on February 8, 2017 at 8 p.m. EST.
