As already reported by several outlets, this weekend was set to be the biggest in the cycle so far for Michigan recruiting. Several of the nation’s premier players are going to be on campus for their official visits. This includes current commits and highly rated targets left on Michigan’s board. Although the likes of 5-star wideout Donovan Peoples-Jones cannot be overshadowed, the biggest fish set to be in Ann Arbor is the nation’s No. 1 prospect and Alabama commit, Najee Harris.
The Wolverine Daily can now confirm that Harris has indeed arrived and is in Michigan for his official. This comes after some buzz that Harris’ visit was no longer a certainty. Though committed to Alabama, Harris has been feeling Michigan for months now and an amazing visit is what is needed to swing things completely in Michigan’s direction. The chance of Michigan landing the nation’s best prospect two years in a row is very real.
Stay tuned to The Wolverine Daily for more on Harris and the other official visitors.
