91 Days: A Look At Linebacker Matt Dyson

While we are getting closer to the season with summer starting up, the next few months we’ll recognize the best players to wear that number in ye countdown. Today, we look at Maryland native and outside linebacker Matt Dyson. He played from 1991-1994 and was a first-team All-Big Ten linebacker in 1992 along with being the 1994 Holiday Bowl defensive player of the game.

He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the fifth round in 1995. After playing in four games during the 1995 season he moved on to coaching at Falls Church High School. He was the defensive and offensive line coach and move on to George Mason as the head coach for seven years.
