Chuck Filiaga from Aledo Texas officially commits to the University of Michigan. Filiaga is a 6’6 335 lbs offensive tackle, ranked the number 98 player in the nation and the number 14 offensive tackle by the 24/7 sports composite rankings.
Filiaga announced his decision LIVE at the US Army All American Bowl in San Antonio Texas. Chuck is playing in the All American Bowl along side other Michigan commit, QB Dylan McCaffrey.
Filiaga’s final 3 schools were Michigan, Oklahoma and Nebraska, with Michigan coming out on top for Filiaga. Back on December 5th coach Harbaugh and Drevno visited Aledo Texas to see Chucks team in their playoff run, which they would eventually win.
The battle for Filiaga really came down to the last week where the race looked to be between Oklahoma and Michigan. Michigan made a huge jump in crystal ball predictions, with 94% of experts saying he will choose Michigan.
