2018 Matawan, NJ (Old Bridge) four-star QB Artur Sitkowski is one of the top 2018 quarterbacks on the east coast within his class. The talented sophomore quarterback out of Old Bridge High School already has six total offers from Rutgers, Maryland, Iowa, Indiana, and now Michigan.

About a week ago, The Wolverines decided to offer the talented 2018 New Jersey quarterback. The 6-foot-4, 205-pound sophomore, has Michigan very intrigued. Sitkowski, completed 95 of 185 passes for 1,436 yards and 16 touchdowns with just four interceptions last fall. In addition, he led his high school to the Central Group V final, the program’s first sectional final appearance in more than a decade.
“It was a blessing and a dream come true to receive an offer from Michigan,” Sitkowski informed me about his Michigan offer. “I think Michigan is a great program and they have me interested. They have great tradition, especially at the quarterback position. They have one of the best coaching staffs in America. Jim Harbaugh knows how to produce quarterbacks.”
Michigan linebackers Coach Chris Partridge went to watch Sitkowski throw the ball around a few days ago, and was very impressed with what he saw from the youngster. However, Jim Harbaugh was the man who offered Sitkowski over the phone just a few days after he saw Chris Partridge.
“Coach Partridge came to watch me throw, than a couple days later he told my head coach for me to call him and he put me on the phone with Coach Harbaugh,” Sitkowski mentioned about his offer from Michigan. “After I got the offer, he said they were very interested in me and will recruit the heck out of me.”
Sitkowski is starting to receive more offers and interest from programs all over the country. Now that he has a few offers, he plans to visit Michigan and a few other schools over the summer. Not to mention, but as of right now he has no leader, so he can have a clear mind going to his visits.
“I plan to visit Michigan over the summer, not sure on a day, but definitely this summer. I plan to keep an open mind during my visits over the summer. I have no leader, it’s still too early in my recruitment process and I like all the schools that have offered so far.”
Over this past weekend, Sitkowski traveled to the New Jersey regional opening at the Jets football facilities. Well, he did not disappoint at the camp, as he won the underclassmen MVP of the quarterbacks and was one of the top performers.
“I performed really well at the New Jersey Regional, I was named the Underclassmen MVP out of the quarterbacks. I think one of the reasons I got so much love at the camp was because of my ability to be accurate with the ball and to command the football.”
Sitkowski is a rising prospect out of the east coast and is a prospect to keep an eye on in the 2018 class. He is a talented and young quarterback, who has a cannon for an arm. In terms of his recruitment, Michigan looks to be in good position, but Rutgers also is also right up there. However, things could change as more offers are expected.
